DNS propagation is an automatic notification process for servers worldwide and occurs when a new domain is registered (name.ro) or when changes are made at the DNS level (host / host change).
As you have 20 friends you do not know the address from abroad, even when you visit different sites you do not know their IPs. What do you do when you want to send a letter to your friends? Write down the agenda in which you wrote down their addresses. When you want to find the address of a computer on the Internet, you use without even knowing an address book called DNS system.
What does DNS actually do? When you want to visit a site, type the address in the browser bar, and it looks in the address book (ie a DNS server) and finds out what is the IP address of the server that belongs to that site. Then it connects to it, which sends the data you requested.
DNS propagation can take up to 72 hours. The duration of propagation is influenced by the large number of DNS servers worldwide. The propagation process being an automated process, it cannot be rushed nor accurately estimated.
